Power for the people

My poem for WriPoNaMo is related to solar power. We’ve had solar panels for a year, and we’re happy with the results. I wish we’d done it years ago!

So here’s my poem for the day, it’s a cordonostic poem – follow this link to find out more about this poetic form.

Sunny thoughts

Sun shines down,
green things grow upward –
photosynthesise at will.

Solar panels gather force –
home grown, loved.

Power bill
falls, as trees all grow –
nature and mankind connect.

Thank you sunshine, love your work!
We’ll use the power
carefully . . .
